Another summer is here! With a new season, comes new trends. Fashion is a great thing- letting people express themselves and stay stylish. I love pairing unique pieces of clothing to make my own style. Something I really enjoy doing is thrift shopping, and most of my clothing items are thrifted. 

Keep reading to see what to look for at thrift stores this summer! For what is trending, my must-haves, and more!

• Sleeveless Vests

Something I am looking for this summer while thrifting is a sleeveless vest! I have seen them on my Pinterest Feed, as well as on people around town. The sleeveless vest trend is so cute, I cannot wait to find one soon!

• Baggy Jeans

In case you haven’t heard, baggy jeans ARE IN. The bigger, the better. The baggy jean trend not only makes you feel tiny, but it is also a great way to thrift a cute pair of jeans and get a lot of good use out of them. 

• Flowy Full Skirts

One thing to look for while out thrifting this summer is skirts! Skirts are so easy to throw on and super comfortable. The more flowy the skirt, the better. Take a look at the examples below:

• Delectable Prints

I am a big fan of prints, and I cannot wait to get my hands on some unique thrifted pieces. From printed patterns that include fruit and florals, people are wearing the funkiest prints all summer long.

• Jorts

Not only are baggy jeans trending, but so are baggy jean shorts! If you cannot find a good pair at the thrift store, do it yourself with a pair of baggy jeans & cut them off. People are wearing baggy shorts to their knees to make for the perfect trending look. 

• TennisCore

All things tennis are trending this summer! Maybe we can blame it on pickleball, maybe not. From tennis dresses, tennis skirts, and more. Tenniscore is a top trend and hopefully an easy find at your local second store.

• Strapless Tops

Say goodbye to spaghetti straps! Strapless tops are in and at a thrift store near you! As seen on the runway, the strapless top is easy to throw on for a day of errands, a night out, or even a boat day.

• Lightweight Cardigans

Cardigans have always come and go in fashion and trends, but this summer the button-up lightweight cardigan has made many appearances. Thrown over a tank top, or even worn with nothing underneath, the cardigan is a great find. 

• Tie Front Tops

Similar to the vest, tie-front tops are hot in fashion right now. As a tank or even a blouse, tie-front tops pair perfectly for date night, an easy work outfit (with something on under it of course) a pool day, and more
